The winery is located on Lovrecan Hill in the municipality of Cestica, near the Slovenian border. The tradition of winemaking is long and dates back to 1861 when the first cellar was built. The vineyards were completely renovated in 2004, with the planting of grapevine varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Traminac, and Chardonnay on 5 hectares of land. The vineyards' positions at an altitude of 300 meters, with a south-facing orientation and infertile limestone soil, are ideal for producing premium wines with exceptional varietal characteristics, as evidenced by numerous gold medals from various wine festivals and exhibitions.
