The vineyards span across 20 hectares of hilly slopes in the Hum and Breznicki Vinogradi regions. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery for grape processing, fermentation, maturation, and wine storage. Safran Winery is the largest winery in the Varazdin County, with an annual production of approximately 90,000 liters of wine and a total capacity of up to 500,000 liters. Safran wines have received top accolades at exhibitions and competitions both domestically and internationally. Notable awards include the Golden Alpe Adria Wine, the prestigious award from the Krizevci-Zelina Wine Exhibition, and medals from Decanter in London for GraSevina and Manzoni Bianco. Safran Winery is one of three wineries in Croatia authorized to produce Sacramental Wine. Around forty parishes in northwestern Croatia use sacramental wines from Safran Winery in their churches, and recently, even the Archdiocese of Krakow in Poland. In addition to offering top-quality wines, the winery recommends their "Mulled Wine" for winter days and a refreshing cocktail wine called "Summer Wine" for the summer season.

Safran Winery has been crafting wine since 1692 in Breznicki Hum, and it is renowned for its exceptional wines such as Grasevina, Riesling, Manzoni, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Yellow Muscat, Fragrant Traminac, Portugizac, Frankovka, and Blauburger. These wines are characterized by their distinct aromas, exceptional freshness, and the recognizable bouquet of the Croatian Hills.
