Nikola Tesla Monument, Goat Island, Niagara Falls, New York
The Tesla Monument has been located in front of the original arch entrance of the Adam Station since 1895. The statue was a gift from Yugoslavia to the United States. The new Adam Station arch was built in 1967, and the statue of Tesla was unveiled in 1976.
The statue is the work of Croatian sculptor Frane Kršinić. The statue is identical to the statues at the University of Belgrade and the town of Gospić, Croatia where Tesla attended a lower real Gymnasium.
