Nikola Tesla lends his name

Since he did tremendous work for humankind especially appreciated in the field of physics, is why the measurement unit for the strength of magnetic fields is named after Tesla. His discovery of AC power changed the way electricity was used because before his discovery, electricity was sent by direct current no more than 100 yards (0,9km), just enough to light a bulb.  In honor of Tesla's role in designing the electric motor, Tesla Motors is another famous namesake. Of course, everywhere we turn these days, there is someone who finds inspiration in the work and character of Tesla.
