Nikola Tesla and the self-driving cars

Long before Elon Musk turned the idea of self-driving cars into reality, Nikola Tesla, the legend himself – spoke of autonomous cars. He envisioned self-driving cars over 100 years ago. “As early as 1898, I proposed to representatives of a large manufacturing concern the construction and public exhibition of an automobile carriage which, left to itself, would perform a great variety of operations involving something akin to judgment”. It's not a coincidence Musk chose Tesla as his brand name for electric cars that feature almost everything Nikola Tesla predicted, it was wisely chosen. The rest is history. Or probably - the future.
