Nikola Tesla and his sense of fashion
Despite his extraordinary character and incredible inventions, Tesla lived a humble life. There are many records of his humble diet and isolated life, but there is one exception to this lifestyle - his wardrobe. Filled with suits and silky shirts made by famous manufacturers. His glamour was recognized in his green suede boots, violet socks, and flower ties. His amazing collection can be found in the Museum of Nikola Tesla in Belgrade. Over 50 pairs of gloves in various colors, 75 ties from cotton to silky ones, and hats that he loved. Finally, 72 pairs of socks in different materials, lengths, and colors. One woven bag from Lika (Croatia), believed to be his mother’s handicraft, is probably the only thing that's more emotionally meaningful than it is fashionable.
