Nikola Tesla and his first genius recognition
In April 1887. Tesla finally built his first company - the Tesla Electric Company. Located in southern Manhattan, he had a place where he could make his ideas into reality by constructing the entire electrical systems, from generators through transformers to motors that have been in his visual memory since the epiphany day in Budapest. Then he had to apply his patents to the patent office, but they were dazzled by the scope of work, so they asked him to resubmit it broken into seven separate sections. After already putting the patent protection to seven inventions in the U.S., Tesla’s patents numbered 381,968 through 381,970 and 382,279 through 382,282 were issued on May 1, 1888. He was then directed to address the American Institute of Electrical Engineers by the engineering fraternity. Tesla’s description of the theory and his inventions were greeted as a masterwork, and he was recognized as a genius.
