Nikola Tesla’s influence in Russia

There is a massive still functional Tower in Russia that hasn’t been active since the Soviet era. Called the High Voltage Marx and Tesla Generators Research Facility and placed in the middle of a forest 40 miles outside of Moscow, it supposedly can generate enough electricity to power the entire country in a millionth of a second. The problem is that the operating costs of the tower are also presumably very high. Is it possible that there is enormous potential to be gained from this facility if it was given funding to operate again? Two Russian scientists started crowdfunding several years ago to finish what Tesla started and provide energy to the world. The funds were never reached despite brothers’ proof of practicality in computer software, as well as their belief in Tesla’s proof of concept. There was another failure of their funding goal, and that is the generation of the energy itself. They proved that 100 square kilometers around the tower and filled with solar panels would be sufficient to meet the world’s energy demands, but the cost of building solar panels is estimated at about $20 trillion.
