Furjan Wines

A young agronomist is heavily investing in innovation, modernizing production, and expanding vineyards. After the first harvests, Tomislav proudly introduced premium wines from the Varazdin region and beyond under the brand name VINA Furjan. The vineyards are planted with Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Grasevina, and Yellow Muscat, situated along the route that stretches from Vinica Breg to the wine road of Cesticki kraj. Excellent exposure, micro-locations, climate, and state-of-the-art cultivation and care methods have led to significant progress in achieving top-quality grapes for winemaking. In 2018, the winery embarked on a new chapter by producing its first traditional method sparkling wines. The pruning of Grasevina and Chardonnay resulted in the creation of the "Dominus" sparkling wine, with a Latin meaning of "lord," "first", or "ruler."

The wine story of the Furjan family began fifteen years ago with father Boris, and guided by new knowledge and a passion for wine, the tradition continues with son Tomislav.
